Creator Bill of Rights
Last updated: April 2026 · Terms of Service →
Five commitments we make to every creator on stuffmybio, regardless of plan. These commitments are not a replacement for our Terms of Service, which govern the contractual relationship — they are a public statement of how we operate.
1. Data portability
Your customers, your email list, your sales history, your analytics — all of it is yours. One click exports everything as CSV and JSON, no support ticket, no waiting period.
If you ever want to leave stuffmybio, we will not hold your data hostage to try to change your mind. We will not charge a fee to release it. We will not degrade the export by stripping fields we hope you will miss.
2. The 72-hour suspension rule
We will not suspend your account without at least 72 hours of written notice, a human review of the decision, and a real appeal path with a real human on the other end.
There are three exceptions, and they exist because the law requires immediate action: active fraud or chargeback abuse, threats to child safety, and CSAM. Outside of those, you get the notice, the review, and the appeal — every time.
We have read the horror stories on r/Gumroad and r/Beacons. Silent bans, frozen payouts, AI rejection loops with no escalation path. That is not how we operate. Your livelihood is not something we deprioritize because a fraud model had a bad morning.
3. Feature permanence
If we decide to remove a feature you depend on, you get 90 days of notice before it disappears. No rug-pulls. No "sunsetting next week" emails.
90 days is enough time to export your data, migrate your workflow, or find an alternative. It is a commitment we make to you before you build your business on top of us.
4. Zero platform fees
0% on affiliate commissions. 0% on storefront sales beyond what Stripe charges for processing (roughly 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction, which goes to Stripe, not to us).
Our subscription covers our costs and our margin. The moment we start skimming a cut of your earnings, we become your competitor instead of your tool. We have no plans to change this.
5. No algorithmic burial
Every creator on stuffmybio gets the same surface area. Your plan does not affect your ranking in search, your discoverability, or how fast your storefront loads. We do not promote paying creators over free creators, and we do not hide creators who have complained about us.
If we recommend you to visitors — we do not — it will be based on public signals like engagement and recency, not on how much you spend with us or how you have treated our support team.
Why this matters
Creator platforms have a repeated pattern: raise prices, remove features, bury dissent, make data export painful. We have watched it happen to every platform we have competed with, and we have been on the receiving end as customers ourselves.
This page exists because promises are cheap — commitments written down are harder to walk back. If we ever change one of these, you will see it here first, with a dated changelog, and you will have already had your 90 days.
